Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Snake Oils was raised by a con man. From a very young age, he was kept in a small cage with little water. The con man often paraded him around the town and shop to show the legitimacy of his wears. The con man would often scrape the goo that Snake Oils secreted and sell it. Snake Oils would often get sick because of this. He needed the goo to remain healthy. When Snake Oils outgrew his small cage, he was chained up outside the shop. Late one night, a stranger came by and opened the lock on his chain. Immediately he ran; he had no idea where to go, but anywhere was better. It wasn't long until he found a lake. He was absolutely delighted, prancing around the shore until daring to step into the water. He then realized where he was truly supposed to be. He spent days simply swimming and exploring ever corner of the lake. He has never left his lake but is very happy with his new home. He is very friendly to those who come by, remembering the stranger that freed him.
