Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Though little metal exists in the rocks around Ferwe Weyr (or possibly because so little metal exists), Nuatan loves the stuff. He doesn't want to do anything with it, and even slightly resents in when the other dragons ask him to shape it for specific purposes. He wouldn't mind if someone else were to shape the ingots, but the part he loves is creating the metal itself. Nuatan just loves magically pulling the metal of the rock, transforming the stone into something different. He forms the metal into sturdy ingots which he proceeds to admire. At the urging of some of the other dragons he's practiced throwing those ingots to do even more damage than he could do by throwing boulders.
