Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

It was noon, and the desert heat was slowly getting to her. Iris shook her head, determined to make the despondent thoughts go away. She was on a mission, and she wouldn't let such a small hindrance as hot air derail her! Like her namesake she was a messenger, and definitely trying to keep up with the goddess in matters of speed. Maybe, one day, she could even surpass her idol.

Lightning fast speed was, after all, what the Blitz clan prided itself in. As one of the older members, Iris had to be an example to the young ones. Resolutely Iris put one paw onto the sand after the other. Perhaps she would take a break at the next oasis she passed. The recipient of her message was expecting her in two days at the soonest, and that was taking in the whiptails' exceptional speed. She narrowed her eyes. Then again, she could make it in half that time if she were to only stop for a few mouthfuls of water. She nodded to herself decisively.
