Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Crackers was a huge surprise to the Cave Mistress who owns him, as she can not remember ever picking up his egg. He just suddenly appeared one day out of the blue, nearly causing an unfortunate accident as she went about making her lunch.

Crackers spends his days playing with either Caciocavallo or Turophobia, copying everything they do and getting under the Cave Mistress's feet. Although cheese dragons have no real need for food, Crackers enjoys hunting rodents with his friends, which causes their owner some concern when she can not figure out where their meals go after swallowing.
