Glaucus Drakes have curious personalities. They spend more of their time sunbathing and idly floating in the water than exploring. Because they move very little as they float, Glaucus Drakes can ambush prey relatively easily. They can dive to surprisingly deep depths, and eat a variety of fish and marine plants. Most of them live in tight-knit family groups.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

As poetic as his name may sound, Above the Ocean is actually a diplomat. Along with his beloved mate, Through the Sea, they are members of the diplomatic entourage, whose mission is to promote and advance the interests of Beacker1160's clan in faraway lands. The two glaucus drakes, who are known as the "Ambassador Pair", are nearly always stationed at the same consulate so as to be able to serve together. They have proven to be especially popular among foreign diplomats, leaders, and wild dragons alike, and their visits are often celebrated.

Despite his busy work and sometimes hectic lifestyle, Above the Ocean still manages to dedicate time to his treasured mate. Elegant and courteous, Above the Ocean is every bit the refined gentleman, and enjoys sightseeing, dining on foreign cuisine, and exploring new places with his mate. Truly, the two are the envy of many dragons both at home and abroad.
