Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

With parents like Jarogniew the Tyrannical and Takrama the Wrathful, one would expect Lysimachos to be full of rage, willing to lash out at anything and everything. However, Lysimachos is the exact opposite of his parents. He's a very docile and patient dragon who tries to avoid a fight whenever he can. Lysimachos is constantly apologizing for his parents' behavior and attempting to fix whatever damage they have caused. It's a never ending, difficult job, but his fellow dragons in the Ruda Clan really do appreciate his efforts. Sadly, his parents do not. They are disappointed with their son, but that comes as a surprise to no one. They don't like anybody but the clan leader. Despite his parent's disapproval, Lysimachos remains a very popular dragon among his clan mates for his peaceful nature.
