Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

This particular enchanted cheese dragon was formerly possessed by a scrollkeeper named Kanaye. In the midst of the night it was stolen for the private collection of another scrollkeeper,and as such it now commonly resides in the young magician's cheese box. Quite a fascinating marvel of magic, it has survived many attempts of becoming a cheese sandwich.
