Yellow-Crowned Dragons are found in the hottest, driest regions of the desert. Although they thrive in these conditions, they do very poorly in cold or humid climates. These dragons are very fast fliers and skilled hunters, and usually feed on small, quick desert antelope. Yellow-Crowned Dragons are diurnal, and spend the night in underground burrows they dig or steal from other creatures. They are often seen out sunning themselves in the early morning sun, waiting for the heat of the day to set in.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

For her entire life, Oasis Pond had possessed an endless sense of adventure. In fact, when she was still an egg, she nearly rolled away from the nest while hatching. Her egg managed to travel 200 yards away before her father caught up to it. Nothing changed as she slowly grew to adulthood, and both her parents and her siblings had to keep a close watch on her to ensure she wouldn't wander off too far. That changed when she was nearly at the end of her adolescent stage. Late one night, she ventured out on her own to follow a group of bats. However, when the sun came up again, Oasis Pond realized she was hopelessly lost in the hot desert. In her attempts to find her way back to her family, she only got more lost. In wandering around, she came very close to dying from heat exhaustion and thirst, until she stumbled across a lush oasis nestled within the sand dunes and rocks. Thanks to the small paradise, Oasis Pool's strength returned, but she never again recovered her venturous spirit.
