It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Well, to prove to everyone that she was a nice, pretty, dragon, she spends her whole day grooming. She is a very pretty dragon, although a little vain, due to her having to prove herself in her childhood years. Yes, you could say her owner ruined her life, but he's still happy with the decision. CirqueDuFreak was naturally a nice purple color, but she decided to make it shiny. Even if a bit self-centered, she still gets along fine with the rest of the dragons, and is very happy.
