Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A pygmy dragon approaches a dark cave. A slender and brilliantly colored dragon stands at a distance (Swift and Green). His iridescent green scales seem to have a powerful glow as his dazzling yellow stripes spread out over his body. He outstretches his wings, lowering his head. His eyes glimmer threateningly as his reptilian tail lashes behind him. Behind his wings stands a more delicate and sleek replica of himself (Green and Gorgeous). This dragon more feminine, the pygmy realizes that he is defending his mate. The male prowls closer; his yellow capped snout opens in an intimidating snarl. He presses his ears back in a dominant gesture walking towards the pygmy and huffs tossing his head as if to say 'I am the boss! You are not welcome here!' He seems fit and well fed, certainly capable of fending for himself as well as make a kill. The pygmy has seen enough. He starts to walk away, taking one last look at the dragon as his fiery gaze looked at him too.
