Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s clear that night is its favourite time.

And look! It has grown wings and turned red on its back! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Pipque Crezar is the intelligent daughter of Frazar and Crecent. She will run around with her parents in the open fields, her scales the brightest red one could ever imagine. Her wings are just big enough to let her fly, but she often struggles, even with her father helping her. Sometimes she will lie staring at the stars and wish that Frazar was more of a mother than Crecent. All she ever does is grovel over her treasure or her son, Signapore. She will treat Pipque as if she were a piece of her collection, not a real, living creature. Signapore's behavior is quite the opposite: she might as well be a pile of dirt in the corner.
