Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Ever since it hatched, it has been hiding among the tree leaves.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

One Who Hides In The Leaves is a very shy hatchling and will often hide. She has a bad habit of running up trees and making nests out of leaves. She will then stay in those nests till her master comes and talks her down. The only one she can even be near is a hatchling named One Whos A Tiny Rainbow because of his calm and easy going nature. He will often bring her snacks and treasures as a way of trying to cure her shyness.
