Canopy Dragons love to soar above the tropical jungles and other densely forested areas. Their billowing, layered wings create generous lift that allows them to ascend effortlessly over the warm jungle. While their unique wings do not make them the fastest flyers, they are champion gliders. To further this end, dexterity, maneuverability, and grace are all judged by the females when selecting their mates from the males that can accurately complete the exhausting and elaborate courtship dance between the close growing branches of the upper canopy.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Palm Tail is a very vain dragoness. She spends days preening the huge, palm leaf-like end of her tail, which, when it isn't being fussed over, is held up proudly over her back, shading her from the sun. She turns her nose up at annoying hatchlings and inferior dragons. When other dragons are finding food for their den mates, Palm Tail is sunning herself on her favorite rock, or staring wistfully into a puddle of water, wondering why no one likes her, which other dragons find both sad and hilarious.

Leaf Spirit uses her vanity as an excuse to insult her. Most dragons have heard her whispering telepathically in their heads, talking about how stupid Palm Tail is. After laughing heartily for five minutes, they immediately feel guilty for laughing, and walk over to Palm Tail to comfort her. However, Palm Tail usually denies their help, saying that she's not allowed to talk to the "lower class."
