Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Because Erradorr is the only dragon of his kind in his clan, many rumors have been spread about him. They say that he uses his orb on his tail to feed off from the moon, and eventually float away and become a new moon. The old moon would be Erradorr. Of course, that is all wishy-washy, though his orb is used in a similar way. Instead of feeding off of the moon itself, the orb feeds off of the moon's energy.
