Harvest Dragons are a large, flightless breed most often found in heavily forested mountains. Normally shy, these omnivorous dragons keep to themselves in remote regions, but in the fall they descend from their high territory to search for food—and lots of it. During the autumn months, harvest dragons will eat whatever they can find, from large and small animals to nuts and fruit. In the winter they retreat into large caves and hibernate until spring, living off the fat they have built up.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Autumn Peng resides on the very outskirts of the Autumn Forest. She gazes out over the horizon to the looming Mount Hagsip awaiting the day that her love, Lennon, would return to her. Many years ago, a stunning Royal Blue male was led into Autumn Peng's lair by his current mate, a rather odd looking Frilled dragon. She looked at Peng and claimed that she and the Royal Blue had decided that their love was futile and that she was looking for a new mate for him.

From then, over the next few months, the Royal Blue, named Lennon, and Peng were together. They had begun to fall in love when Lennon decided that he would always love the Frilled female. He left Peng.

Since he left, Autumn Peng has been a gloomy but hopeful dragon. She believes that someday Lennon will return to her. She greets every dragon who enters the Autumn Forest in a friendly way, hoping that someone has heard of the whereabouts of her lost love.
