Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Spartan Brook or 'Brookie' is one of the many 'Spartan' Dragons, children of Spartan Carter and Silver Loron (Nebula). Out of all the Spartan family children, Brookie is likely the most social with members outside of the family.

It's not that Brookie is talkative so much as always present. For every hatching, every party, every mourning and every concert, Brookie is always to be found among the happenings. Yet she always seems to be on the side of the picture, not really in the center: she always seems to be watching for something. When asked about this, Brookie simply claims she is keeping her eye out for danger. It's as likely an excuse as any other, but no one questions her about it: after all, she participates when asked. It is notable to mention, however, that her younger brother Thorn is VERY protective of her, and just about her opposite.
