Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its belly is bright red and it is most active in the evening.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Small Sunset was named after her bright red belly. She was frozen to prevent her death. Small Sunset feels threatened by the bigger dragons and prefers to hang out around the other hatchlings. Some of the hatchlings make fun of Small Sunset because she never matured and is now stuck in hatchling form but Small Sunset doesn't mind. Small Sunset likes to sleep most of the day then wake up at sunset and hunt. She also has a slight bond with Small Sunrise but they are so opposite never really get any time to speak or play.
