Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Eldari of the Lunar Light was found as an egg in one of the old Dragon Caves by the human girl Flight and grew up alongside three other hatchlings in Flight's cave near the Lake of Elgar. Always kind and thoughtful, Eldari was the peace bringer to her fellow hatchlings and, like the rest of the dragons under Flight's care, thinks of them as her siblings. As she grew older, Eldari began to grow increasingly attached to the night, no longer venturing out during the day unless it was necessary. As night approached the light the gem on her tail produced depended on the growth of the Moon. Though she was a Cave Born dragon, Eldari was unaware of what she was destined to protect until she became aware of her love for the night and was given the name Eldari of the Lunar Light. She now guards the Mountains of Elgar during the night, while her younger "brother", titled "of the Solar Light" watches over the day.
