Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Noiavagi's mother had been traveling for days. She was going to the desert egg grounds to give birth and hadn't eaten in a while due to her insistence on getting there by dawn. She was close, she could feel it, so she started hunting for something to fill her stomach. She scanned for a heartbeat in the desert sands as she flew over. Fifteen minutes later, she found one--but not one that she was expecting.

She took the Sunstone dragon egg that she found so it would survive. When she gave birth at the birthing grounds, the owner that had picked up the Sunstone egg also picked up one of her eggs, left there so the Sunstone wouldn't be alone. The Magi egg hatched to be Noiavagi, friend to Urieben, the Sunstone dragon. She is very intelligent, dwelling on world problems instead of her next meal. Pacifist by nature, she doesn't kill except to eat and never uses her physical strength. Despite this peaceful nature, she had hidden power that not even her lifelong friend, Urieben, can fathom.
