Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Dimdii WinterFrozen (after the gemstone: Diamond) is Clan Mystal member number 3,333. During the holiday season, as with each year past, the majestic and elusive holiday breeds began to reappear from their secretive isolation and rejoin the clan to celebrate the Spirit of Christmas. However, this year, a terrible and strange blizzard struck the land, raging for untold days. Although the dragons with their mighty magic, and the humans, together were able to subdue the storm, the final spell had an unheard of side effect on little Dimdii. The tiny hatchling, only hours since breaking the egg shell, was caught within the gathered magical power and frozen for all time, unable to age even another moment more! Concern and worry spread through Clan Mystal, and The Clan Mother attended the situation, trying to remedy the malady laid upon it. Sadly, no care nor magic could reverse the damage done, and thus, this sweet, darling Holly Dragon will forever more remain, a wee hatchling!
