Frostbite Dragons first appear at the beginning of winter, creeping in with the frosts. They have found their place in human lore as the spirits of snow, since they only reveal themselves during icy weather. In the depths of winter, they cover the world in blankets of snow and are believed to be responsible for the glittering frost that creeps over everything. Although they appear cold and distant, they are actually rather mischievous and enjoy spending time dancing through blizzards.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Frostfall is rarely seen anywhere even remotely close to the main camp of the Thalmorian-Clan. He has made his home in a distant, mountainous area instead. His lair is on top of one of the highest mountains, the only one to be covered in snow and ice all year long. The only time he may journey into the camp is during the cold winter months. Even then, he doesn't interact with the other dragons or his human owner much, and usually prefers pulling some harmless pranks over socializing. However, he takes great interest in potential mates and secretly follows them around for hours. Nobody knows why he does that, but some say that he's actually too shy to approach them... Perhaps he's just trying to figure out whether or not they would make a suitable partner and good mother, though. He's almost obsessed with Vanity, Elusive Enchantment and, oddly enough, Embers of War. However, all three don't seem to be interested in him, especially not Vanity. Fun fact: Frostfall loves classical music!
