As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

A delicate and refined creature, this female spends her nights dreaming of grand ballrooms and handsome princes, of gardens covered in white roses and carriages covered in gold. However, her ability to make these dreams come true is always frustrated by the noble humans she so adores, as they inevitably mistake her small form for some type of oversized insect or bat and drive her off. She's certain that if only she could get them to see her for what she really is, they'd love to invite her in and crown her a princess... but it's getting them to see her that's the hard part. Her light-loving father keeps suggesting that they'd have an easier time seeing her if only she'd stop in during the daylight hours, but she's quick to dismiss that suggestion as crazy.
