The egg faded away completely; in its place there’s a cute baby dragon. It doesn’t seem to have much substance, though.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

It was Ghost of Your Past who chose his own name. Having not yet acquired fully acquired the skittish nature of his fellows, Ghost enjoyed spending time around Dewsong, the human. It turns out one of her friends was called Ghost of Your Past, and Ghost instantly took to the human who's own personality so well matched to what Ghost was becoming. As he grew more experienced in life, Ghost left the humans, but named himself after his friend to remind himself that not all humans are evil.
