Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Pyros are easily the heaviest of all Xenowyrm subspecies and they use their weight to their advantage. If scorching their foes with flames doesn’t finish them off, Pyros will use the weight of their bodies for sheer crushing power. They create their lairs solely in volcanic regions, where lava and billowing flames are the land’s most prominent features.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Zacharian, or Zach, as he is more commonly known, as a rather unusual Pyro Xenowyrm; he's not dangerously hot-headed nor savagely cruel, although he has been known to harbor a small temper when provoked. He prefers to be a loner, straying from his Pyro-pack and doing his own thing rather than taking orders from those who he deems clueless and stupid. As such, Zach is very intelligent and clever and is able to manipulate dragons and humans alike in order to get what he wants.

He might be wily, but Zach does hold an extremely soft side for a small Floret Wyvern known as Allexias, or Lex, as he fondly calls her. He finds the anxious wyvern incredibly adorable, and though she might be forgetful and nervous most of the time, he loves her all the same. He vows to protect Lex at all costs and despite his constant teasing, Zach would without hesitation lay down his life for her.

The bond they share is unbreakable. Their differences mean nothing to each other. Their love is eternal.
