Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Influence is a dragon with a mastery of her breed's magical skill. From the very start of her life, any very young living thing that spent some time around her seemed to gender female. And any already male creature seemed to take on more feminine characteristics, to most of their embarrassments. As she got older, Influence realized she was influencing the gender of the creatures, throwing her tribe's gender ratio out of whack. Quite flustered and confused, Influence isolated herself from the tribe and began to practice her unique skill. After many years of solitude, Influence mastered her magic and deemed herself safe to return to the tribe. At the formal request of Freeze Limit, Influence returned to her family and friends and began to tutor the other new pinks on how to Influence, as she found they too had latent abilities for the magic. It has been many years now, but the gender ratio in the tribe is pretty much sorted out and Influence is finally secure and happy.
