Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Itziar Parthenia, whose name means "stone maiden", is the keepers of the Tales. As an ageless stone dragon, she indirectly commands a quiet respect. The Tales, dragon lore that preserves dragon heritage, are forever imprinted in Itziar's enigmatic mind, earning the aforementioned honor. Hatchlings learning how to use telepathy will listen to the Tales being told by Itziar's sweet, high voice, learning the stories of their ancestors. Itziar's name is due to her voice; the other dragons compare telepathic chats with her to talking a lovely maiden trapped in stone. However, Itziar does not mind her inability to move; her spot in the cave contains good living conditions, allowing her to move minimally when she eats her rocks. Itziar is highly respected overall, and she loves observing the other dragons- so dragons are overly careful of their etiquette, at least when passing Itziar in the cave.
