Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Albin the Albino seems out of place in a cave filled with colorful dragons. Nevertheless he spends his time meditating and is actually the most intelligent of the dragons there. When there is a problem he is normally the first to offer a solution and a way to implement it. He is a valuable part of the dragon life in the his owner's cave though he may not seem friendly at first, but it's more like he'd rather have intellectual and philosophical discussions than gossip. He is sometimes seen near Dagdromen talking about philosophy, or near the pond watching his mate Sidepass on Water swimming and having a good time.

As there are more dragons in the cave their owner has now given them assigned jobs to make the cave run smoother. Albin the Albino is an Intellectual and Hatchlings' teacher (He teaches morning intelligence and theory lessons).
