Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Being a Pink in Perseverance's cave means he thinks of you as an outcast. Many of the Pink dragons have no idea why this is and why the females seem to have it the worst. He mostly ignores them but will often be seen with a frown when they are around. This injustice isn't condoned by the other dragons, but the older ones seem to understand the motivation behind it. The females like to wonder why he is this way...

Heal is one of the dragons who does knows why that is. In fact, she named herself after it in hope he'd see what's important. She knows that Perseverance blames Pinks for not being there in the first years of his cave. She wishes she could tell him to just get over it. Will loves him, and that's all that matters. Heal can't help grinding her teeth every time Perseverance looks at her with blame. She's been talking with May, the Kyanite Pygmy, about it. May thinks that Perseverance doesn't even know what feelings he shows, but Heal has a hard time believing it.
