When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The Poodle Dragon was grabbed from her cave as an egg on the 19th of May, Clya's younger brother's 6th birthday. She was meant as a birthday gift for her little brother, and therefore was named by him. The Poodle Dragon was so named for her egg's description, as it sat in a small puddle and was named "Poodle" as a sort of joke (Clya's little brother would go around walking through every puddle saying, "Poodle Puddle!").

She loves her name because it makes her seem special from all the other dragons in Clya's cave. The Poodle Dragon, or Poodle for short, loves swimming around a lot and making huge splashes! Poodle is very smart and spends a lot of time learning about the world around her. She is slightly larger than other water dragons and some say her scales glimmer brilliantly in the sunlight.
