Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ramuh is pessimistic, lazy and complains a lot. His clan and even his own master need to push him it they want him to get something done. Those who complain a lot in his clan tend to be in the lowest rank. Lucky enough for Ramuh that he is an exception. For someone who has such a lazy attitude he is ironically the one that is the most efficient in missions and assignments. He is noted for his gift to think ad least 200 steps ahead of the enemy. It is because of his intelligence and calm demeanor that he tends to be in charge of combat and rescue missions. The positive traits that Ramuh also has is that he is patient, well informed and down to earth. Ramuh also has photographic memory and isn't easy to fool. Even though Ramuh isn't that amazing in combat he can disarm strong dragons with his counter plans and improving skills. In his spare time he likes to sleep, eat and relax with his clan. He is very friendly and loyal towards his clan.
