Falconiform Wyverns are normally shy creatures. However, when approached, they often feel threatened, and the flames along their bodies leap higher. Females tend to be smaller than males, though Falconiform Wyverns are typically rather large overall. They use their size to their advantage by hunting smaller dragons. The Falconiform’s graceful, swooping dives are said to resemble birds of prey. Falconiforms are largely solitary dragons that only meet in order to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bluefire is a Falconiform Wyvern who lives with her trainer in a large cave. Her egg was found near a giant volcano in the hot lands of Valkemare. She has a similar personality to Mudpuppers (her trainer's Water Walker), being shy and nervous. A common sign of this is when Bluefire often nibbles on her tail. No one knows why she does this, though. But despite her shy personality, Bluefire can be a merciless fighter when defending her trainer and other young hatchlings. But under all that shyness and rage, is a big, gentle heart.
