Failed attempts to experiment with magic often result in transforming dragons into these hellish creatures. They are extremely dangerous, and will mindlessly kill any living creature without regard to friend or foe.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Floating Spirits was first a hyper black dragon, but was killed to have a chance of having a zombie dragon. Anger boiled in his blood. He didn't know why he was chosen to be this ugly, crippled creature. Floating Spirits floats through the forest every day, clopping dragons on the head when they dare try to speak with him. He became independent from everyone. Everyone ignored him, he ignored everyone. Rage floods through him every day, but then later he always softens up and becomes sorrowful instead, wondering why he was the one to be betrayed to. He never healed from this, always having that burning fury, then the gentle flowing sorrow.
