Split Dragons use their sharp teeth and wings to hunt large animals and rarely eat plants. They are intelligent dragons who enjoy mental challenges, preferably alone; Split Dragons are normally solitary except during mating season. When mating, many dragons come together in a group to raise their eggs and hatchlings. These groups tend to be very noisy—reminiscent of a thunderstorm—and last only until the hatchlings are capable of surviving on their own.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.
User Description
When total opposites are stuck together on one body there are sure to be many arguments. However, it is a totally different story if two personalities that are very much alike are melded together. Rankou and Yondo are two philosophers who study magic sharing one body, but not two minds. They argue and lash out at each other over everything they do simply because they share passions and wish to do them differently. An example would be when Rankou is dead set on learning spells and incantations in the old tongues and Yondo hell bent on learning things the quicker, easier way. Because their minds are not in harmony, their body is constantly at war when they practice their love of magic making them a mediocre sorcerer at best. However, because they are brothers and also, literally, attached at the hip, they always make sure they never stay mad with each other for long. Theirs is a life of perfectly organized chaos, but to each their own is what the two philosophers would say to anyone else.
