White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Avaseria was adopted and raised by the Great Moon orc tribe. Raised from a hatchling by the tribe' shaman Avaseria looks upon the orcs of her tribe as her own brothers and sisters. She even acts as the tribes nurse, healing the sick and wounded and watching over the children while the parents hunt. Her full name translates into "Heavenly Star" in the orcish tongue. To the orcs any of the true flying dragons is to be honored with the title of Arraka which means star in acknowledgement or their ability to ascend from the mundane world and fly in the open skies. Avaseria was given to her as a surname by the shaman Gano Thunderfist due to her shining purity and great healing abilities. In fact Avaseria's ability to heal is one the main reasons the Great Moons have been able to effectively win the battle with the Spear-Splinter tribe and gain vast tracks of territory.
