Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Claude has been following Deimos around, ever since the thunder dragon saved him from certain death at the claws of Neffar's lackeys. Now, the black dragon does whatever he can to help the Stormseeker, quickly becoming a champion for the people as his hot-headed companion seeks to challenge his father and undo the evils he has wrought.

But his feelings towards the other has changed in an unusual way. What was once mutual respect has changed to something entirely else. He can't quite place a claw on what his feelings are doing. But now, more than ever, does he want to be by Deimos's side for all eternity. This, he is sure of.
