And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young drakes are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own.

This little guy has loved fighting ever since he could swing a paw. The "BB" in his name is an acronym for BabyBoxer, given to him by Rayelle himself, for his tiny fighting spirit. One of the many hatchlings that have mysteriously stopped growing, he has taken his place in the clan among the (much larger) dragons, along with his (tinyclan within a clan) leader, Peltshadow. She has taken him as her bodyguard, and Shadowpelt greatly appreciates this, for she had been growing tired of watching over Peltshadow all day and night long.
