Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has a pink cloud that follows it everywhere. You seem to be having more difficulty concentrating since it arrived.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Alongside his sister, Winged Dreams of Present, and his brother, Fall From Clouds, Quietness -- despite being frozen -- is the eldest of the three Daydream siblings, and certainly acts his age as he attempts to keep an eye on the two.  Always tumbling through the air on his little cloud, looking as if he's about to fall off but never doing so, Quietness is constantly scanning the skies overhead for Winged Dreams and Clouds in order to keep them out of trouble with the daydreams they toss about.  The little frozen Daydream himself does not specialize in any type of dream in particular; a gentle, sunny trance one way, or a fast-paced adventurous fantasy another, Quietness dabbles in all sorts of dreams but cannot decide which ones he enjoys inducing the most.  Living up to his name, the little hatchling is content simply to float about the clouds, silently searching in his never-ending quest to keep a close eye on his younger brother and sister.
