Azure Glacewing Dragons are one of the largest breeds. They grow to overwhelming sizes; folklore tells of ancient dragons outgrowing even lakes and mountains. They are quite oblivious in nature, and rarely care for—or even notice—the presence of other, smaller creatures. When hungry, an Azure Glacewing might strike suddenly, securing a tasty snack. An adult Glacewing is often more commonly found in the sea than in the sky or on land, due to their enormous weight. However, come mating season, Azure Glacewings return to the forests in which they were born, so that the young have lots of game to feed on.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon likes to skip rocks. She will find a suitable, mostly-flat rock and send it zooming across the water, counting the number of times it touches before sinking.

As she has gotten older, the size of the rocks she skips have remained in proportion to her. These days, the colossal-sized creature sends flat boulders the size of small ships skipping out across the water. When she is in a melancholy mood and sending many of them out to approximately the same spot, she can create a shoal or small island in her target direction.

Sea captains have learned to be very wary of any mobile blue mountain they see on the shoreline. Skipping boulders wreak havoc on the sides of ships, and intentionally targeting them is the favored way in which Skyppre hunts.
