White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Li Amia is the second of the Tolander clan. She is Draimi's serene, calm mate, and though she chastises him for his pranks, he keeps on. Amia treats all the younger dragons as her children, even after they've matured, perhaps because she was present at all their hatchings. Her favorite place is next to Draimi's lake, in the shade of an ancient cherry tree.
