Shallow Water Dragons are found in tropical regions where the water is warm. They use their magic to hunt, using bubbles to capture small fish and animals. Their large, webbed feet make them excellent swimmers and they are able to move at very high speeds. Due to their bright color, these dragons are easily spotted in the lagoons where they live.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Her name means "Moon Child" in Japanese. She is the daughter of Nami and Shuichi; she still loves to go exploring the shallow reef with them. She is a very timid dragon, but she loves to socialize with the other water dragons, and with any other dragon that will come into the water for a short while. She had secretly been giving Masaaki longing looks, but was too shy to introduce herself. Little did she know that he too was shy. However, he overcame his shyness in order to ask her out. She accepted immediatly and was thrilled when he started courting her. When he asked her to be his mate, she was thrilled, and they have been loving each other tenderly ever since.
