Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tommy Stormwing is the oldest dragon in the Legendclan and is also the wisest. If one seeks information about the lands, Tommy is the one to speak to. Even though he may be the oldest of the clan, he is rather playful at times. Tommy still visits his childhood friend Sara, a dark green dragon. Tommy Stormwing's control over weather is very powerful due to his wisdom and age, and is not a dragon others want to get in a fight with. However, Tommy is not one to start fights and often will try to avoid a battle if possible.

Tommy looks a lot like a regular gray dragon, but has grown larger due to his age. His eye color is more of a lime color, and his wings have a few rips, but he can still fly for hours before tiring.
