Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Despite being as black as outer space, it has a few bright patterns on it.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

SunGazer is a Nebula dragon with a tragic story. A purely nocturnal dragon, this little hatchling got caught outside as the sun rose, stunning the little creature. BlueFlamdra, the BlackJade female clan leader, brought the infant back to safety. The hatchling is forever frozen, admiring the stars over the clan territory.
