Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

No one knows where Isdal came from. While exploring some hills, a small family came across her, asleep and with her face on fire. Luckily, her strong scales protected her from most damage. However, her eyes were affected by the flames, meaning she no longer has the excellent night vision she did prior. For this reason, she joins with other dragons to hunt, especially at night.

Although she hunts primarily for food, Isdal also likes to collect luxury items from villages. She loves jewelry, as do most dragons. She also steals fur hats from terrified humans. She does not try to eat them, so she must not view them as animals. It is unknown why Isdal likes fur hats so much.
