Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

Danztepps loves to teach others how to dance. To help them learn, he carefully plots footsteps in mud or snow, hardens it with a blast of heat or cold (respectively), then has his student literally follow in his footsteps. Depending on how clumsy his students are, these last for about four to five teaching sessions.

For a more permanent set of instructions, he once tried putting his footsteps in cooling lava. It worked, but Danztepps had to be tended by a white dragon for weeks afterward so he will never use that strategy again. Only the one dance out of the dozens he knows is permanently mapped out.
