Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Asa originates from the Cyanfire Kingdoms, which is just a fancy name for an unusually large herd of spitfire dragons living in the desert. A group of travelers had wandered past, but stole one of the eggs from a clutch in hopes to sell it. Luckily, it was confiscated when they were found illegally transporting it through the nearest town and brought to the public cave for adoption. Growing up, Asa was told of her past and wished to keep the official seal of the Cyanfire kingdoms in her name. She enjoys playing with her cyan-blue fire, making beautiful rubies out of glass in the sand. If she finds a small child's sandcastle, she will make it into unbreakable glass so that it will never fall. Because she spends more time on the beach than the desert her diet consists more so of fish than her species' average diet. She plays with small children in the sand, allowing them to bury her and taking them for rides in the ocean surf.
