Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It was born with a full set of wings.

And look! Its wings have grown larger! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Barris, friend of Ahsoka and a pure-blooded Republicator, is always trying to be the best. It doesn't really matter what she is trying to do, either. Whether it be slicing rocks or being compliant, she does everything to be the best.

She and Ahsoka get into pretty much everything, straying over the Separator-Republicator border and raiding Rae's cave. Rae often complains of this to the Jeedi Council, who meekly say 'They are but hatchlings. You cannot blame them for their curious nature.'

Along with the Ultimate Names group and the rest of the hatchling pranksters, Barriss is secretly planning on launching a full-out hatchling attack on Team Cydragon.
