Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

MusicalMagi is a Magi Dragon with an interesting talent, she can make music with pure magic. It is likely that all Magi Dragons could do this, if they had thought of it. MusicalMagi creates beautiful melodies by creating magical  vibrations in the air, at different frequencies to make specific tones. She thought of this trick as a hatchling, after seeing a human playing a lute. MusicalMagi loved the human's music so much that she wanted to make her own. But she didn't think of making a dragon-sized lute, like a dragon in her cave. Instead, MusicalMagi thought about the sound waves. She tried to manipulate the air to make similar sounds, and slowly she figured out how to do it. Once she made the first note, MusicalMagi was hooked on this talent. She practices every day for hours at a time. After 500 years or so, MusicalMagi is able to create a whole orchestra of music. Mostly she plays human songs, but she does have some songs in her repetoir that have been created by fellow dragons.
