Pillow Dragons are covered in enormous amounts of fur affectionately referred to as fluff. Despite their deceivingly large size, they can still fly even with such tiny wings because their bodies are remarkably light. Pillow Dragons have a habit of sleeping for up to eighteen hours a day, waking only in short bursts. During their few waking hours, they take the time to hunt for prey. Once a pillow dragon becomes an adult, its fur grows very slowly. Pillow dragon fur is used to make very expensive and valuable cloth known as “dragon cashmere.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Felinde was once the pet of a rich baroness, living a life of luxury inside a large castle. But while most Pillows, lazy by nature, would have been quite content to doze in the sun all day while servants combed the tangles out of their long fur, Felinde longed for excitement and adventure. One day she escaped but she was unused to being on her own and she wandered aimlessly for years, hardly able to even hunt for herself. Out of sheer determination she survived, though when Hawktalon found her she was a mess. Her once gorgeous fur matted and mangy as she lay in a dark cave smelling of mold and decay. She now spends her days asleep in a patch of sunlight, just like she did before. Felinde insists she prefers the simple yet hard life of a cave dragon over the pampered life of a pet, but she says this with a heavy heart. Sometimes she would give anything to go back to the baroness's castle.
