Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It always seems to be picking over its scales.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Kirijah holds a great distaste for other dragons who she believes are inferior to the Lumina. She was adopted by the Silver Tinsel, Sweet, who acted like she could do no wrong and turned the little hatchling into a spoiled brat. Kirijah likes to boss the other hatchlings around and steals what food she can, Sweet is too wrapped around her tail to do anything to stop her. Cikirsa ignores the Lumina hatchling and most of the hatchlings have grown to hate her and huddle in a group or behind one of the caretakers. Kirijah only has herself for company and she believes that is all she needs.
