Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has a large stone on its tail.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Tiny Prideful Sun is of questionable pedigree, according to many of his fellow dragons.  This might explain why he remains a hatchling.  Thankfully, Tiny Prideful Sun is not alone in his plight.  As his name suggests, he is very proud.  The stone on his tail is kept to a very reflective shine and he struts around the cave so all can see the stone.  The only problem he has is there are no other Sunstone questionable hatchlings for him to spend time with.  Thus, he is a bit jealous of the Black questionable hatchlings.
